In the past two days, the number of migrants sleeping on the streets of Paris has risen by 1000, since the Calais Jungle closed

Today near Stalingrad Station, dozens of men lined up for help and food handouts. This comes after the Jungle camp in Calais closed this week

Heloise Mary, a member of France’s office for the welcome and accompaniment of migrants, said numbers in Paris had shot up in the past two days

Most of the migrants are staying around the Stalingrad Metro station, where charity workers give them three meals a day

Paris’s first official refugee camp is due to open within the next few days, and it is expected to become a magnet for even more refugees
